Extraordinary poet Felice Belle dedicates to Walt Whitman in her poem yours as much as mine

Felice Belle is a poet, playwright and avid fan of Law and Order: SVU. Her writing has been published in several journals and anthologies including Roots and CultureSLAMHis Rib and Bum Rush the Page. Her playwriting credits include Joy in Repetition, Hip-Hop Theater Festival (2002), Tell the Truth Lying, ROAR Theater Festival (2003) and Definitely, Real Theatre Works Fresh Voices Festival (2004). She also created original poetry for the Vineyard Theatre production of History of the Word (2007). She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and an M.A. in Creative Writing and Performance from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is a second-year MFA student at Long Island University, working on her first collection of poetry.
