Emily Schultze is a writer from Brooklyn, now living in Chicago. Her work has appeared in Hair Trigger 34, Gapers Block, Every Day Fiction, Zine Columbia, The Cadaverine Magazine, and By The Overpass Literary Magazine. Her short story Pretending was nominated for the 2012 AWP Series Award and winner of the Roger and Sylvia McNair Travel Writing Scholarship. Emily recently interned for Akashic Books and is now working as a Marketing Assistant for indie publisher Elephant Rock Books.
