Allison Hope Richards is a first year graduate student at Columbia University. She is also a coloratura soprano, artist and creative writer in her spare time. She is currently in the process of applying to PhD programs and hopes to write her doctoral thesis on a comparative study between Hasidic and Old Order Amish families. Allison leads an eclectic life, aimlessly riding the train and chatting with the stray cats of the Upper West Side. She currently resides in Pawling, NY.
