Three Poems by Michael Newton

Spring is in the cold air, lurking in the crypt of the winds…  out of the gust comes these three poems by Michael Newton

 

 

Michael Newton is a poet and a performance artist living in Brooklyn. He graduated from Bard College. In the past he has worked as a knife salesman, handyman, dishwasher, stage manager, journalist and tutor. He is currently an editorial apprentice at Ugly Duckling Presse and his work has appeared in the magazines Death and Life of American Cities and Poems by Sunday.  He has performed at REHEARSAL, the New Museum, and AUNTS. He is part of the collective Panoply Performance Laboratory.  He believes that the Russian Baths on 10th St. is the best place in New York.
